Mrs. Hilton's AP Bio class might have been my favorite science class. I love biology, I plan to (maybe?) major in it in college and the class was amazing. I learned so much about biology and she helped me learn a ton of different ways to study as well as the content. Although I have already taken Honors Bio, Genetics and Genomics, Microbiology, and Cell Energy systems so far the course was super interesting! I loved both her live meeting and all the work assigned each week!

Thank you very much for a wonderful year of learning about Biology. My son enjoyed your class very much. You went above and beyond in teaching them, providing actionable feedback, and helping them grow academically and personally.

You forever inspired my son to discover all the intriguing world of living organisms.

Mrs. Hilton's AP Bio course was high interest and prepared me well for the exam. With her weekly assignments as well as zoom meetings, she covered the content in an engaging and fast paced way while ensuring everyone understood it. She did plenty of exam prep that was built into the course as well as helping create strong notes that could be used for review before the exam.

The class did an excellent job at preparing me. The practice tests and quizzes were very helpful at showing what the final test would look like, and how to manage time efficiently. I especially found the ones from previous AP tests to be helpful. Also the extra-credit was a good way to incentivize studying on my own time, which I felt helped my performance on the final test.

Thanks a lot for another year of engaging learning adventures. My son loved AP Biology. Mrs. Hilton was an outstanding teacher, ran the class in a very organized way, fed her students’ curiosity, and inspired my son to dive deep into the wonderful world of biology and the sciences. 

I really enjoyed this class! Studying was more independent than other AP courses that I have taken, which I liked, but if you need help you will still receive it. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience with the course.

The professor for this course is very kind and understanding. She is fun, loves to laugh, and is always open to irrelevant questions. Definitely recommend this course for anyone who is inquisitive and likes to work hard.

AP Biology with Mrs. Bekah is an incredibly enjoyable and interactive class. The weekly zoom meetings and labs were my favorite part, and they helped cement the material which we learned from the textbook chapters. If you love science or would like develop an appreciation for the study of living organisms this class is for you!

I love Ms. Bekah's AP Biology class! She teaches in a fun and engaging way. She encourages student discussions. The in depth class material and assignments are helpful in preparing us for the AP exam. I highly recommend her class!

Hi Mrs. Hilton, I want to thank you for such a great school year. I love learning about new things, especially about the human body, but learning about all these extinct animals was really cool, and something that really fascinated me was that jelly fish have been living in this world longer than most organisms. But without this course, I would not have the knowledge that I have now, and I want to thank you for everything that you have done!

I absolutely loved this class and I thought the material was explained and taught in a very clear and interactive way, making the class incredibly fun as well as educational! Even if you do not like biology or at least don't think you do, Mrs. Hilton makes it incredibly interesting and engaging. The textbook also includes picture, diagrams and highlights the key words which helps facilitate the student's learning. Basically, this class was wonderful and I definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning about the world around us and who doesn't want a super intense course.

I would definitely recommend taking Biology with Blue Tent! Mrs. Bekah is an incredible teacher who is super helpful and makes class fun and memorable!

I loved this class because everyone was so friendly in the class. This was the first class where I felt that I was actually in a classroom. All my other classes weren't interactive and it was boring. Mrs. Hilton is the best teacher I've had in my freshman year. Throughout my High School career I hope to have more teachers like her. This class was challenging, but I learned so much. I struggled a little in the beginning of the class, but I didn't give up. I am glad I stayed in this class because I wouldn't have made so many friends and I wouldn't have learned so much

This course was a fabulous preliminary high school biology course! I really enjoyed all of the live meetings and the forum discussions! 

My daughter is graduating so we won’t be enrolling in any more classes. But, I wanted to take a minute to let you know how impactful your organization has been for us. [My daughter] really loves the classes/teachers she has experienced at BTO and feels well-prepared for her next steps. The asynchronous format has allowed her to tackle the highest level of academic challenge while also training 30 hours per week as a pre-professional ballerina. Yours is really the only ‘school’ that would have facilitated this arrangement. We’re so grateful and wish you best luck in the future!

Considering my severe senioritis and the fact that I honestly did minimal review/cramming, I felt like I knew what I was doing almost the whole time on the exam. This means that the knowledge was hammered into my brain pretty well throughout the school year. I can't say that I've taken many classes that did this as well as this one did.

This biology course was really amazing. I love the teacher and my fellow students were very fun to interact with. The weekly labs allowed me to get some hands-on experience and conduct interesting experiments. Mrs. Bekah is also very nice and an understanding teacher. I know I can always go to her if I need advice! I would definitely recommend this course. I had a blast this year!

This class gave me a great understanding of biology!  I particularly think the labs were helpful because they made me think deeper and make connections about the material in the textbook.  I also really enjoyed creating threads and responding to others in the forum each week.  I learned so much from my classmates there; I think it's a great aspect of the class.  Finally, the dissections were AWESOME!!  My sister took honors bio last year, and she would let me watch and occasionally help with her dissection.  It was just as enjoyable the second time around.  Later in high school I am considering taking an AP bio class because I love this topic, and I feel like this gives me a solid base to expand from. Thank you for a great year Ms. Bekah!
